Authentic Pre-Columbian "Birthing" figure artifact dating from the proto-Classic period (300 BCE to 300 CE). Charming artifact from ancient Nayarit Culture of Western Mexico. Artifact depicts female either pregnant or birthing with pronounced belly, coffee bean eyes and open mouth. Adorned female displays headdress and arm bands. The artist/ sculpture has managed to convey emotion in posture of body. Size 2.35"W X 3.35" H ( 6 cm X 8.5 cm).
