Authentic 19th Century small bronze religious alter piece from Tibet (possibly Nepal). Lovely seated Bodhisattva with old patina displays elaborate crown on double-lotus base. Old Bronze (5 1/8 inches 13.01 cm) peacefully seated in Dhyanasana (position/pose in Meditation, cross-legged, with the soles of the feet visible) and resting on a single lotus base. In both hands her attributes, the Vajra symbols. It has a peaceful facial expression derived from deep meditation. Great detailing all around and a rich patina. The head is embellished with a five-leaved crown.
