A creeping, perennial, succulent that grows as a vine and is native to the drier parts of southwest Africa in the Asteraceae family. String of Dolphins are characterized by their iconic dolphin-shaped leaves and long hanging tendrils.    LIGHT: This plant does well in full to part sun. New growth is legging with insufficient light.  WATER: Allow top 25% of soil to dry thoroughly between waterings. Fall through winter, allow top 50% of soil to dry. Shriveled leaves indicate the plant needs more water. TEMPERATURE: Prefers to be warm, 60-80 degrees F FERTILIZER: Fertilize during their active growing season (spring-fall).  ORIGIN: Native to South Africa TOXICITY: These plants are toxic and should be kept away from pets and children.
