GLAS Custom 61' blonde nitro thin skin heavy relic with Fender custom shop G&G case, full vintage wiring and only 7.4lb. This guitar is a riff on a 61/62 pre CBS strat, made from the highest quality parts, hand relic'd from top to bottom here in Los Angeles California. Fender neck is a slim C 9.5 radius, with a beautiful super dark rosewood board, low profile Mid Jumbo frets and Kluson vintage tuners. Has been relic'd and finished in a satin vintage amber nitro and hand sanded from 400-5000 grit. Topped off with a hand shaped bone nut and aged period correct decal. looks old but plays like new. Fender Alder body is feather light at just under 7.4lb. Finished in a blond thin skin nitro for maximum resonance. Hand finished with all the lovely dulling, aging and dings you would expect to see on a vintage pre cbs. Parchment plastics have been aged. This has a GC vintage bridge and rolled steel block for killer sustain, and aged fender saddles set up as a flat/fixed termelo. Electrics
