This is an old world fruit bat skull, resting under a mushroom made from bones. Two genuine, natural, juicy purple rubies adorn its face, and it is surrounded by an explosion of purple crystals that include fluorite octahedrons, amethyst, quartz, and pyrite! The top of the mushroom is made from an alligator scute and dyed with a mixture of natural nightshade and dragon's blood inks. This piece is sealed inside the jar to protect it for a lifetime, but it will not protect it from sun damage. Amethyst and fluorite are prone to fading if placed in direct sunlight, so this piece is best displayed on a shelf that is not touched by the sun.
