Description: A beautiful turned hardwood nicely shaped round dresser box with a tight-fitting lift-off lid. This wood box has a beautiful dark brown colored lacquered finish showing the wood grain on the exterior. The box has a round base with shaped sides ending in a wide opening on top. The box has a lift-off lid, which fits nicely and tightly to the opening. The slightly domed lid has an acorn shaped finial in the center. The box has an interior lining of red velvety material with a floral decoration on the inside. The box is unsigned and has a beautiful dark age patina. It also shows wear commensurate with its age and utilitarian function. This a beautiful piece worthy of a spot in any collection.
