Description: A nice crisp uncirculated one hundred rupees banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India. The note has the image of the Ashoka pillar to the right and is black and blue on multi-colored underprint with tan coloring on the center. The back, which has the same colors as the front, shows the image of a dam, electric towers, women planting rice, women harvesting tea leaves, and a man on a tractor. There is orange- and yellow-colored ears of wheat in the center. The banknote has a watermark depicting Ashoka pillar and a solid security thread right of center. It has one signature on the front, that of Malhorta the Governor of the Reserve Bank Of India. The front also displays the serial number and series in red twice. This particular note has the serial number 48J076 and it is from series 9PW.
