This document, which carries the printed signatures of the company President/CEO and Secretary, was printed by the Security-Columbian/United States Bank Note Company and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8" (h).The certificate's interesting vignette features a vintage Apple II computer. Historical Context Apple Computer Company was founded on April 1, 1976, by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne as a business partnership. The company's first product is the Apple I, a computer designed and hand-built entirely by Wozniak, and first shown to the public at the Homebrew Computer Club. Apple I was sold as a motherboard (with CPU, RAM, and basic textual-video chips)—a base kit concept which would now not be marketed as a complete personal computer. The Apple I went on
