Being offered for sale is the antique WOODEN (walnut, we believe) CARPENTER'S TOOL BOX / CHEST (featuring an usual shape/sloped front/lid, original removable inner tray and ornate iron side handles (geometric sun looking design, see pics 4 & 5), atypical-looking beefy iron hinges & iron latching hardware), with unknown origin (no visible maker's mark(s) - most likely american) from circa the mid -to- late 19th century (best guess...possibly older), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title.
