Grace's Insect Medium is a modification of Wyatt's medium, and was originally formulated to support the growth of cells derived from the Australian emperor gum moth, Antherea eucalypti. When supplemented with the proper components, this medium has been shown to support a variety of insect cells including several lepidopterans as well as some dipterans. Although it has been shown to support the growth of some dipterons, it is primarily used in the cultivation of cell lines derived from lepidopterans. In 1970, Hink supplemented Grace's original formulation with lactalbumin hydrolysate (LAH) and yeastolate for the culture of cabbage looper, Trichoplusia ni cells. This modification has also become known as Hink's TNM-FH. Store at 2-8℃ D-Glucose 700 mg/L L-Glutamine 600 mg/L Lactalbumin No Lactalbumin Yeast Extract No Yeast Extract
