As a result, with MAX main line pressure set to 125 psi in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear and up to 150 psi in 4th or in lock-up, this kit provides a significant increase in torque capacity for all of the friction elements including the TCC clutch. These elevated pressure specs are ideal for the heavy-duty work truck as well as for pulling the fishing boat to the loading ramp. With the kit installed it brings a whole new driving experience to the truck while keeping the shift timing at the OE RPM’s for the optimal engine power curve.
