Courageous Warrior Maiden

This Fearless Warrior Maiden was carved by Claudia Peina.  She holds a sterling silver shield and spear.  Half of her hair is in the traditional bun that Pueblo maidens wear and the other half is the long hair of warriors.  She has an inlaid red coral mouth and turquoise, jet, and red coral dots inlaid within the geometric designs on her clothing.  A turquoise dot is on the side of her moccasins.  She is tiny and mighty!  More about Warrior Maidens below.
