100+ Portulaca Double Mix seeds

This listing is for a package of 100+ Portulaca Double Mix seeds. Aka Moss Rose. Portulaca is a semi-succulent, fast-growing, sun loving, ground hugging plant. Very easy to grow, requiring almost no attention once germinated. Great in mass plantings, containers, rock gardens and even in hanging baskets. Can be direct sown in late spring after all threat of frost has passed for your region. (Follow other growing advice below for indoor seeding) Warm weather required for germination! 70° consistent soil temperatures For best results start seed in trays indoors in advance of your regions last frost date. Do not cover seeds with soil. Press into soil to keep in place. Seeds need light for germination. Keep warm, under bright lights and keep moist until germination. Water carefully as to not disturb surface sown seed. Placing plastic or glass over the tray can help keep in moisture and bottom watering is recommended.
