Carl Pool Hydroponic Special 4-18-38 Water Soluble Fertilizer

From Texas-based crop specialist Carl Pool comes a water soluble fertilizer that serves as a complete nutrient source for a wide variety of crops grown in both hydroponics systems and and soil-based agriculture. Carl Pool 4-18-38 Hydroponic Special is a complete blend of essential plant nutrients -- including magnesium and sulfur -- with no need to add Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) to create a Part B of a two-part nutrient solution.  Carl Pool 4-18-38 Hydroponic Special is comparable to Masterblend 4-18-38 Tomato Formula but is more economical as it needs no magnesium sulfate supplementation. We mix Carl Pool 4-18-38 Hydroponic Special at the rate of 1 pound of fertilizer per 1 gallon of water to create a Part B nutrient concentrate. We then dose the concentrate at the rate of 1-2 ounces per gallon of water along with an equal rate of calcium nitrate to achieve the target E.C. value for our crops -- an E.C. of 2.0 for most fruits, vegetables and flowers.
