Large Palo Santo wood is a rosy sweet-smelling wood also known as Holy wood. The sticks will smolder for several minutes once lit and blown out.   An aromatic incense, Palo Santo (bursera graveolens) is a natural wood. Known for centuries by the Incas and other indigenous cultures as (Holy wood) a spiritual remedy. It is most often used for purifying, cleansing and ridding an area of “evil spirits”, misfortune or negative energy.   Our Palo Santo is sustainable wild harvest wood from naturally fallen trees and branches, which I bring from Ecuador. Purchasing this product helps sustain the industry that replants and maintains these endangered trees in South America’s Grand Chaco region.   These are large sticks roughly 5" long but width does vary.   2.205 pounds bag by weight only.
