'Lifeguard Off-Duty, Part Three'

Headed to Huntington Beach to check out the rare five-planet alignment happening at the moment.  Stayed for the sunrise, which was an absolute banger.  Couldn’t choose just one photo, so here are several! Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, & Saturn are visibly aligned in the early AM throughout the rest of this month.  Wake up an hour or so before sunrise & look to the east-southeast.  Mercury is very hard to see (it was obscured this morning) & Saturn was much further right.  But, I loved the way the moon chose to join the ‘planet parade’ this morning.
