Details EK-Quantum Velocity² Direct Die D-RGB - 1700 Core Edition is a water block engineered from scratch specifically for direct die cooling of the Intel® LGA 1700 socket-based CPUs of 12th, 13th, and 14th generation Core architecture. It features improvements that benefit 14th-generation CPUs and shares almost no parts with the previous Intel Direct Die water block released. It requires the removal of the IHS, the process popularly called Delidding. This CPU water block is EK-Matrix7 compliant. Direct Die Cooling Engine This water block carries significant differences from the regular EK-Quantum Velocity² and is thus exclusive for direct die cooling.
