Darcy's Parlour
Fitzwilliam Darcy, better known simply by his last name, is a prominent character and the main love interest in Jane Austen’s famous novel Pride and Prejudice. Set in the Georgian era, this novel takes readers on a journey of self-discovery. One of the places we physically journey to with the main character, Elizabeth Bennet, is Pemberley, Darcy’s estate. While we don’t know exactly what Darcy’s parlour smelled like at Pemberley, it’s fun to imagine. Darcy’s favorite chamber is a representation of the man himself: tasteful and refined. Arguably one of the most famous literary characters to come alive on the page, we love imagining what his study at Pemberley would smell like and we think you will too with our Darcy candle. Rich undertones of wood, leather and tobacco with a bright top note of cinnamon gives this fragrance a heavenly balance. You can practically hear a quill scratching across paper, crafting declarations of adoration, as our hero wins hearts (both ours and Elizabeth’s).
