Sons and daughters of God stand in a unique position in the world concerning ownership, stewardship, and how to think about material things (resources versus assets).  First, sons and daughters understand by revelation that God is the only Source, so everything else is resource.  Secondly, sons and daughters understand that if our Father has made it all, sustains it all, and owns it all, then “all things are yours” (John 16:15; Rom. 8:32; 1 Cor. 3:21, 22).  And thirdly, if in fact, all things are ours by inheritance as sons and daughters of God, there is no reason to “take any thought” (worry) for the needs of tomorrow (see Matt. 6:32-33).  If you don’t naturally think like this, you are holding the right book in your hands.  Because orphan thinking is very different.  Part of the meditation process is hearing and pondering the verses over and over.
