All Natural Insect Repellent
Alpenglow Skincare is a small family business owned and operated by Susan Houlihan in Homer, Alaska. Her products are made from only natural, raw ingredients, much of which are locally wildcrafted or grown in her home garden. The bugs in Alaska can be overwhelming during the summer season and we rely heavily on insect repellent to stay out and work when they are swarming every evening. Chemical repellents makes us feel sick with repeated use and we need something that is safe for our baby. Leah is often covered in bites when no one else has been touched and has tried every bug spray under the sun. Alpenglow has hit the mark with this very effective natural insect repellent and we highly recommend it. The concentrated repellent is made without DEET or other harmful ingredients and provides protection against mosquitos, black flies, ticks, biting flies, no-see-ums and sand fleas. Alpenglow only uses pure essential oils that have been steam distilled or cold pressed directly from plants and flowers to scent their products. Not only do they smell better than any synthetic fragrance, they are beneficial to the skin. Got bites already? Use Alpenglow's Cottonwood Balm to soothe and heal them. Directions: Very concentrated. Spray into your palm and then spread over exposed skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Reapply as needed.
