About the Fabric | The Willow is a nostalgic indulgence, recalling Beata’s memories of childhood trips to the seaside and cups of tea on rainy summer days. Our oversized version of this classic pattern is screen printed on a linen cotton. It works particularly well as drapery and makes for a beautiful fabric walling. It is also suitable for occasional upholstery. The Willow pattern was first produced on ceramic plates in Stoke on Trent in the late 1700s.  A story of the depicted scene was created as a marketing ploy of a beautiful daughter who fell in love with her father's modest accounting assistant.
