Description Introducing the Lavender Lion’s Paw Lamp, the second release from Tennent NY's Fall 2023 Venus Collection, a whimsical new family of handmade fixtures inspired by the Surrealists and the natural forms of the sea. Employing the latest advances in cool-to-the-touch LED technology, the collection features table lamps and wall sconces made with hand-selected specimen seashells in place of traditional shades, putting the organic source material behind so much 20th century modernism front and center. Like its orange-hued sister lamp, the Lavender Lion's Paw Lamp also shares a passing resemblance to Audrey II, but requires no care or feeding. Centered on a lavender-tinted cast-concrete base, with an unfinished nickel-plated column, knurled nickel hardware, and dark-brown cloth-covered cord with contrasting khaki inline switch, its shade is constructed from a matching pair of sustainably sourced, naturally translucent, variegated lavender Lion’s Paw scallop shells.
