Tell My Horse: Voodoo and Life in Haiti and Jamaica by Zora Neale Hurston. J. B. Lippincott Company. (1938). First printing? with no listing of later printing. 6" x 8 3/4" 301 pages Hardcover with dust jacket. DUST JACKET: I should say, mostly complete, but with many chips and tears. DJ is torn all the way on the front of dj spine. There is staining to front and back panels and flaps. Not price-clipped with dj price of $3.00.  Now protected by a removable mylar dj cover. BOOK: Moderate cover edge wear. Water staining on the top of the page block. Moisture did effect some of the page surfaces, mostly visible on corners of some of the pages with photographs. The end papers do show staining fairly significantly, but other than a slight browning to the last pages, not much beyond the endpapers. No pages have stuck together. There is no paper ripple. I don't smell any odors, but my sniffer may not be the best - allergies, not tobacco. No other previous owner markings.  No tears, folds or cr
