In volume 1, pages 18-59 are devoted to a Parallel Record of War Events Within the Leading Countries Involved During 1914-1918.All volumes have some heavy wear to the edges of the covers, volume 1, more so. Gilt lettering and decorations on spine and front cover are slightly faded, although volume 1 more so (again), but all are legible. Hard cover bindings appear to be flexible, perhaps a bit shaken.
