Forestwest 18Ton Log Splitter is upgraded with heavier and stronger flywheel system, generating more power to split hardwood, stronger stand and bigger wheels for high manoeuvrability. This is a more advanced model, which is also called Kinetic Log Splitter. It generates up to 18Ton splitting force powered by a 3HP 4-stroke petrol motor and is more efficient with only 2-3 seconds per split cycle, much faster than hydraulic ones. It requires little maintenance that only needs to keep it clean and lubricated. This machine is up about waist high with a stand, so you don't need to bend over to do any splitting, and the front tray will catch all the split pieces ready for the next split. The recommended log size is 14" long and 14" round , while the max log size is 16" long and 16" round (this may vary for different types of wood). Perfect for domestic use. Note for Petrol Engine : Adjust the speed of the engine to make sure the cycle time is around 2-3 seconds. It is recommen
