Sailboat Original Painting, ‘Regatta Fog’ 24x20

One of my favorite things about living by a busy marina is the sailboats. In the morning hours, the fog is often lingering over the hills in the background, making for a dreamy, calm scene. In this painting I tried to capture that moment with a limited palette. I focused instead on textures and explored techniques using unconventional ‘brushes’ and palette knives.  This piece is painted with acrylics on a 24x20 wrap around canvas
