OSHA PEL is recommended at 0.1 ppm over 8 hours and ACGIH recommended exposure is 1 ppm over 8 hours. Fluorine is a very reactive gas that is used for rocket fuel and used to make derivate compounds such as acids, fluorides, and fluorocarbons.
