Print: Centering by Adam Grossi

Archival print reproduction of work by Adam Grossi. From Adam: "At the intersection of my studies in the psychiatric and yogic paradigms lies an emphasis on centering: finding the latent power and stillness that underlies all movement. This painting started with a simple color matching of a fragment of an Audubon bird print: the first phrasing on the composition was these feathers, an invocation of flight. From there, the field of the painting began to emerge. The gesture of the trunk, for me, alluding to both the stability of the center and also the hollow reed of the central channel in the subtle body architecture of yoga." Images are best-fitted to paper size and mailed compressed in hard board. Paper choice has been chosen by the artist.
