This particular work is from my photography portfolio, which is almost completely abstract in nature. There are few indicators of anything real, in the sense of tangible objects, although all of the images portrayed are shot in camera and not created in Photoshop or other digital programs. The work is macro, a term applied to photography dealing with capturing images of very small objects such as pennies, key chains, flowers, magazine article cutouts, etc. I generally use refraction methods of shooting through glass and liquid, to further enhance the abstraction, which creates more fluid like compositions that alig
