Indigo Bunnies - Indian Block Print on SHINY Silk Voile

An adorable bunny print made with mud resist dying and natural indigo dye. Artisans in Jaipur, India, stamp mud prints of the bunnies and then dye the cloth in the indigo vats and then remove the mud to show the print. I loved how playful and sweet this print is.  This silk voile is definitely a bit slippery and requires more care to work with (microtex needles in the machine, silk pins, rotary cutter and pattern weights, or scissors and pin the pattern to the fabric) but the result is stunning. How unique is a hand printed silk indigo?! This silk has a charmeuse-y / silky feeling side and the bunny print is on the shiny side. The back side has more of a dry hand like a rayon challis.
