Alewa - Exclusive Print - Linen Cotton Blend
We teamed up with sustainable slow fashion designer Tsia Carson of Language of the Birds to bring you these exclusive art-driven prints! Tsia Carson writes this about her Alewa print: "Out of the need for space, many Honolulu neighborhoods have climbed up the often craggy, twisting slopes of O‘ahu’s Ko‘olau mountain range. And Alewa Heights, which inspired this print, is one of them. The community snakes up an arduously steep incline. ‘ālewa means suspended in Hawaiian—a beautiful and perfectly fitting name. The neighborhood is densely packed with small houses ingeniously built on almost vertical plots. The print attempts to capture that feeling." Printed on a midweight linen and cotton blend that will beautifully translate to a variety of casual garments like elastic waist pants, skirts, dresses, and blouses. Shop owner Bethany is wearing the Tamarama Set by Swim Style patterns. Recommended Patterns: Sauvie Sundress by Sew House Seven, Tamarama Set by Swim Style, Tate Romper by Sm
