Gallery Wrapped Stretched Canvas

We use Fredrix®️ Universal 10.5 oz. Artist canvas to gallery wrap our Repurposed Douglas fir stretcher bars made from beams and lumber collected from old(1900s-1940s)deconstructed barns and buildings. This older wood tends to have a tight grain which makes the wood strong. We mill and shape the repurposed wood into our canvas stretcher bars. We glue and V-nail the bars together, then stretch the canvas around the bars, making a painting platform for your creative ideas in oils, water mixable oils, or acrylic paints. If buying a canvas, and a frame later, consider buying both now, as most canvases don’t qualify for free shipping on their own.($75.00 minimum for free shipping). if you decide to get both canvas and frame, we will mount the canvas in the frame, so when you receive it you will only need to unscrew the frame, paint your canvas, and put it back together using the screw holes we made.
