Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2020 Release

When MM decided to make their first blend, they wanted to heighten their vanilla and caramel notes. They did that by finishing the Straight Bourbon (70% Corn, 16% Wheat, 14% Malted Barley) in barrels enriched with SE4 and PR5 oak staves. The staves are a marriage of virgin French oak and toasted American oak, respectively. The final no-age-statement concoction (bottled at 110.8 Proof) champions the two flavors in addition to cinnamon apple, oak, leather, and spices.
