Clary Ranch is a cold and windy hillside vineyard in the heart of the Petaluma Gap. This is perfect for Syrah. A cold protracted growing season leads to ripe syrah that rarely break above 12% allowing beautiful and delicate aromatics to shine through. A palate that is somehow featherlight and intensely concentrated. This displays the savory side of the grape with cardamom, mesquite and pepper driven spice. The bright acidity points to a long life in the cellar. If you drink it soon, decant for at least two hours.
