Istine, Chianti Classico, 2022

Mostly fruit from the family's Radda in Chianti vineyards, Istine and Casanova dell’Aia it has the high-toned perfume and minerality you expect from top producers (think Montevertine or Monteraponi). But with some Gaiole fruit (from Cavarchione) in the mix, it has a more immediately accessible warmth, too. This is why we love Chianti Classico: delicious wine for a big group eating pizza or red sauce Italian, but equally well-suited to  an elevated meal (Not to mention, perfect with steak!)
