Weingut Gantenbein Pinot Noir 2022 The Gantenbeins have their winery in Fläsch, a small village in the Bündner Herrschaft. There are no signposts to the winery, but they don’t need any: firstly, they don’t welcome visitors, secondly, the Gantenbeins hardly ever accept new customers, and thirdly, the wines are always sold out either way. Martha and Daniel Gantenbein have been producing their wines in the Bündner Herrschaft region with great passion, ambition and success since 1982. Burgundy clones were planted. The operation has been continuously improved, so today the grapes and juice flow by gravity, without pumping or filtering. Only around 4.5 hectares – and thus the largest part of the vineyard – are planted with Pinot Noir. On 1.5 hectares are planted with Chardonnay and even fewer with Riesling. The highest quality standards also mean that the Gantenbein winery has rather low harvest yields. Annual production is only around 25,000-30,000 bottles across all 3 grape varieties. For
