Ilegal Mezcal Joven 200ml Made with sustainable Espadín agave, our Joven, Reposado, and Añejo mezcals are perfect neat. Our aged mezcals are rested in a combination of new and used American oak, medium char barrels, a unique and complex taste for those who enjoy sipping spirits. Full bodied agave flavor. Eucalyptus and mineral aromas compliment hints of green apple, fresh citrus, and red chiltepe. Hint of smoke. Ilegal began back in 2003ish, very informally & almost by mistake. Ilegal’s founder, John Rexer, was transporting mezcall "creatively" from Oaxaca to supply his bar, Café no Sé in Antigua Guatemala. The first mezcall bar outside of Mexico.
