Bruichladdich Octomore Edition 15.1 Super Heavily Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky Edition 15.1 of Bruichladdich’s Octomore was made using barley grown on the Scottish mainland and malted to 108ppm, resulting in a heavily peated single malt. This whisky was matured for five years in bourbon barrels, imparting aromas of smoked caramel, mango, vanilla custard, and barbecued pork on the nose, with bright citrus notes, smoked heather, and ground coffee. The first expression in our 15th annual series, this is an Octomore that is distinctive with its sleek, elegant style and extraordinary strength of character. It is a ‘no frills’ single malt Scotch whisky – open, honest and exceptionally clean. Earthy peat smoke is beautifully balanced with sweet, charred oak, resulting in an unforgettable dram.
