Set of three items, handmade from raw materials.10" Hand painted deer hide drum, with Jón Árnason Galdrastafir "Þekkur", an Icelandic stave representing "Welcoming", "Mild-tempered", along with original artwork. Wool wrapped grip. This symbol is an attestation to Oðinn in magic. The same image is featured on the rattle. Rattle, filled with wood beads, has an alder handle, and is wrapped with wool yarn to match the drum beater. The beater is stuffed with fleece and wrapped in boiled wool and is hand painted to match the drum and rattle.
