Upcycled DIP Switch Stud Earrings

Get your geek on with these upcycled earrings. Red DIP switches with 4 or 6 white switches that can be set any way you like. They look amazing, and the posts are very lightweight and easy to wear. I make these from actual DIP switches, clipping the leads and sanding the backs smooth. Then I use 2-part jewelry epoxy to attach the post. These components are ROHS compliant, which means they should not have lead or other harmful metals. However, they are actual industrial components, so wear at your own risk. These geek-chic beauties would make a great gift for the engineer, electronics enthusiast, or techie in your life!
