Utility Linear Actuator
Description Description Military-inspired design for ultimate firepower utilizing a completely sealed enclosure, ready to be deployed in any application. These Utility Linear Actuator models use a worm gear drive mechanism which makes them quieter than regular Linear Actuators and much harder to back drive. We made them from a thick hard tough plastic case with aluminum rods to be able to handle the Forces. We are offering them in two different force and speed models and strokes in 2" (inch) increments from 2 to 12-inch strokes. Built with end-of-stroke Limit switches to safely stop the actuators at the end of the retracted and extended position, these units also have the benefit of the 3-wire Hall sensor for positional control, if required. We called them the utility actuator because they have everything, quiet smooth operation, feedback, rugged design, compact in size, and multiple stroke options. Features and Benefits Works perfectly with Control board FCB-1 for the ultimate in Actuator control Rugged compact design for universal hardy applications. These units are smaller than other actuators for the same force output Military-inspired design for ultimate firepower utilizing a completely sealed enclosure, ready to be deployed in any application. Internal limit switches automatically shut off the unit at the end of the stroke - This protects you and your equipment from possible damage. Worm gear drive system for quiet smooth operation. 2" stroke increment range of stoke options up to 12" stroke, gives you more flexibility. Delivering force options from 110 to 330 lbs. Optional Hall sensor feedback built-in. If you want to use it, ignore if you don't need it. 3 wires for the Feedback are included on all these models (black, white, and red). Actuator wiring is simple. 18AWG wires (Green & Yellow) for the motor. Reversing polarity changes the direction of operation. 22AWG wires (+Red/-Black, White) for the sensor. White is the sensor output. How do I choose the right actuator for my application There are a few variables to consider, but we can simplify this greatly for you with the Actuator calculator we've built. This Calculator is based on the physics calculations our in-house team use every day; So, we decided to simplify it and make it available to everyone. If this calculator does not cover your application please, email us any diagrams, sketches, etc. and we will be glad to help. Can a Firgelli Linear Actuator replace my old actuator Yes, a FIRGELLI actuator can replace your old actuator. FIRGELLI offers a wide range of electric linear actuators with various specifications, including stroke length, force capacity, and mounting options. Before making a replacement, it's essential to consider the following steps: Compatibility Check: Compare the specifications of your old actuator with the FIRGELLI actuator you're considering. Ensure that the stroke length, force capacity, and mounting dimensions match or closely align with your requirements. Mounting and Connections: Check whether the mounting brackets, attachment points, and connection interfaces of the FIRGELLI actuator are compatible with your existing setup. Power Supply: Confirm that the power requirements (voltage, current) of the FIRGELLI actuator match your power supply or system specifications. Control and Feedback: If your old actuator had specific control features or feedback mechanisms, verify that the FIRGELLI actuator provides similar functionalities or offers compatible control options. Integration: Consider any modifications needed to seamlessly integrate the FIRGELLI actuator into your application. This could include adjusting mounting points, making electrical connections, or programming control signals. Consultation: If you're uncertain about compatibility or installation, feel free to reach out to FIRGELLI's customer support. They can provide guidance and recommendations based on your specific situation.
