Ideal for applications where limited space is a necessity and little force is required. The F12 Micro Linear Actuator is Similar to the original L12 Actuators and is our new line of micro linear actuators featuring durable, water-resistant sealing and a slim, lightweight design with all metal gears. Mounting Points Mounting these Micro Actuators is simple. Each end of the Actuator has 2 clevis holes that are 4.1mm dia (0.16" dia) so that a 4mm screw can be used to secure them. In addition, the moving end shaft of the Micro Actuator is able to rotate up to 180 degrees so that the holes do not need to line up with the motor end of the Actuator body.  Mounting the Body of the Actuator is also an option, you can mount to the durable plastic motor body or the aluminum shaft if desired. The benefit of using the 2 round clevis holes of the Actuator is that the Actuator is able to rotate and swivel as its moves which are likely for a lot of applications.  Control Options: These Micro Actuators are a simple 2-wire configuration, this means that you simply supply a 12v DC power source to make the Actuator move, and reversing polarity will change its direction. Most people use a Rocker-Switch to perform this action, or perhaps a remote control system that has 2 buttons (Up and Down)  Technical Details Dynamic Load 20N (4.4-lbs force) Static Load 25N (5.6-lbs force) Input Voltage 12V DC Speed at Full Load 12mm/sec (0.5"/sec) Stroke length Custom 1-12" (0-300mm) End of stroke Limit switches Built-in, non-adjustable Duty Cycle 25%, max 2 minutes continuous use IP Rating IP65 Operating temperature 5 - 40 degrees C Current Draw No-load 0.1 Amps Current Draw Full-load 0.2 Amps Mounting Points Clevis holes on both ends. 4.1mm dia (0.16" dia) so that a 4mm Screw Operating Noise 65 dBA Motor Type Brushed DC Motor with built-in Gear head and metal gears Product Dimensions Stroke Closed Open 1 Inch (25mm) 117mm 142mm 2 Inch (50mm) 132mm 182mm 3 Inch (75mm) 172mm 247mm 4 Inch (100mm) 197mm 297mm 5 Inch (125mm) 223mm 348mm 6 Inch (150mm) 248mm 398mm Technical Drawing Performance Graphs Downloads Downloads STEP Files 4.4lb's 1 Inch 2 Inch 3 Inch 4 Inch 5 Inch 6 Inch Actuator Dimensions Force 4.4lb's Actuator Stroke 1" 2" 3" 4" 5" 6" Download Videos and Articles Videos Related blog articles: Actuators - What is an Actuator? How do I choose the right actuator for my application There are a few variables to consider, but we can simplify this greatly for you with the Actuator calculator we've built. This Calculator is based on the physics calculations our in-house team use every day; So, we decided to simplify it and make it available to everyone. If this calculator does not cover your application please, email us any diagrams, sketches, etc. and we will be glad to help. Can a Firgelli Linear Actuator replace my old actuator Yes, a FIRGELLI actuator can replace your old actuator. FIRGELLI offers a wide range of electric linear actuators with various specifications, including stroke length, force capacity, and mounting options. Before making a replacement, it's essential to consider the following steps: Compatibility Check: Compare the specifications of your old actuator with the FIRGELLI actuator you're considering. Ensure that the stroke length, force capacity, and mounting dimensions match or closely align with your requirements. Mounting and Connections: Check whether the mounting brackets, attachment points, and connection interfaces of the FIRGELLI actuator are compatible with your existing setup. Power Supply: Confirm that the power requirements (voltage, current) of the FIRGELLI actuator match your power supply or system specifications. Control and Feedback: If your old actuator had specific control features or feedback mechanisms, verify that the FIRGELLI actuator provides similar functionalities or offers compatible control options. Integration: Consider any modifications needed to seamlessly integrate the FIRGELLI actuator into your application. This could include adjusting mounting points, making electrical connections, or programming control signals. Consultation: If you're uncertain about compatibility or installation, feel free to reach out to FIRGELLI's customer support. They can provide guidance and recommendations based on your specific situation. For a more in depth guide on how to replace your old actuator, we have made a replacement actuator guide for you.
