Miss America - Blush to White single blossoms. This peony was aptly named during a time when America was looked upon as a pillar of hope and liberty after WWI. The peony has excellent stems for staying upright in the field or the vase. Pick when they are just starting to open for maximum vase life. Miss American was awarded the American Peony Society’s Gold Medal in 1956 & 1971.
