Persian Gabbeh Wool on wool 2'4'' x 2'10''. Three small architectural niches along the top of the aubergine field are set directly above a step-shouldered panel enclosing s pointed, stepped central section with a rosette pattern. Lower panel with hexagons including a central sand motif. "S", slanted leaf and arrowhead chain borders. Afghan or Eastern Persian. All-wool construction. Good condition.
