Backbone Bourbon The Forge Blended Bourbon

The Forge is our most ambitious project yet. It's a combination of 3 different whiskies aged between 5 and 14 years old, and bottled at a high proof. Straight bourbon makes up a majority of the blend where we have selected some of our best barrels between 5 and 7 years old. This blend also includes some older Straight Rye (8 yrs+) and some Light Whiskey (14 yrs+). The Forge is a rich and decadent blend that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We believe The Forge represents some our best blending work yet. Backbone “The Forge” is blended bourbon where at least 51% or more of the blend is Straight Bourbon. We spent several months coming up with the blend. Our starting point was simple – how could we use our older barrels of whiskey to create something that was outstanding and stood apart from other high-end American whiskeys.
