A small family-run Belgian furniture workshop active in the 1960s/70, De Puydt, was a known for their high-quality rustic-modern designs and Brutalist style, particularly their highjack bowtie dining chairs. This solid oakwood dining table is 44" round when closed with a thick recessed skirt over four legs extending from the center that are notched near the bottom. Nice tight plank top with varied grain pattern. One extension increases the table to 66" and creates an alternate sectioned patten to the top. 1970s, Belgium.
