The Meadow Top

The Meadow Top is hand-cut from a super soft hand-woven khadi from India. This is a medium-weight cotton with a canvas like texture, un-dyed with a natural fleck. The Meadow Top displays the beautiful artistry of quilting with grandmother's flower garden patches, originally hand stitched in the nineteen-thirties. These patches were placed onto the garment and carefully hand embroidered around each petal for a whimsical, bespoke design.  Iridescent mother of pearl buttons close its relaxed and flowy fit.  This piece was hand-cut and sewn in Nashville and is one of a kind.  Composition: 100% Cotton Care: Hand-wash cold and hang dry. Iron on low heat. And/ or dry clean. As the quilted pieces are vintage, they may be susceptible to irregularities. This is all part of its charm and are not classed as flaws.
