The plate has a 3" (76mm) X 20" (508mm) ground surface. It is inexpensive and excellent for straightening individual rails of trombone slides. The 20" (508mm) length will not interfere with the hand slide brace sleeve. CAUTION DO NOT attempt to solder on this plate. Acid fumes will destroy the ground finish and the heat could warp the steel. For soldering work, the P90 Trombone Leveling Stone should be used.
