This large 20th century armoire with two carved doors comes from Java, Indonesia. The armoire showcases a massive rectangular shape with two carved doors displaying four rounded panels. The top is adorned with a carved molding with edge patterns while the legs are carved in a baluster shape. The doors open via a discreet brass ring pull above a unique hardware lock to reveal two inner shelves. The piece is covered with a warm light brown lacquer which exudes serenity.
