Nearly every time we have to remove a timing chain guide the heads of the OEM bolts strip. This is from the use of a mild steel fastener on an aluminum thread that undergoes thousands of heat cycles. They just get stuck. Not anymore. We custom made aluminum spacers to fit over a stainless steel fastener that uses a larger head than the OEM bolt. Making for better grip when installing or removing these bolts. Each spacer is test fit into an OEM guide to ensure a perfect fit.
